God will use you despite your weaknesses.

In fact, God will pour his grace so fully into your life that even your weaknesses will reflect his strength. You have God’s favor—his blessing to succeed—as you take each step toward completing the work he’s given you. He’s not looking for ways to disqualify you from your purpose; instead, he’s working in and around you to support your steps of faith.

Keep this in mind: God didn’t withhold his love for you until you cleaned up your life, and he didn’t ask you to prove your trustworthiness before Jesus died for you. He doesn’t expect you to be perfect before you start serving him …

It’s the grace from God that you carry with you into the mission and ministry, and God’s grace that energizes the Good News you carry to those who need to know about God.

God doesn’t need you perfect because he’s all-powerful and he can use anything and anyone for his purposes. But equally as important, he wants you—beautiful, flawed you—to show others that he’s a God of redemption, a God of second chances who cares about the poor, the brokenhearted, the captives, and the prisoners.

You are a living monument to God’s grace, and your weaknesses, your flaws, your worst mistakes give glory to God as he works through you to bring others with weaknesses, flaws, and horrible mistakes into his family.

Trust God and not your own perspective. What you see as a flaw or an irrevocable mistake may be the very thing God uses to lead people to Jesus. Your job is to be obedient to God’s guidance as he directs you in mission and mission.
