OWWA-NCR EDSP EXAMINATION
The EDSP is a scholarship grant offered to qualified beneficiaries/dependents of OWWA member-OFWs who intend to enroll in any 4- to 5-year baccalaureate course.
It is given in the form of a financial assistance amounting to P30,000.00 per semester. OWWA pays the tuition fee directly to the school and releases the remaining amount upon the scholars’ submission of grades for the semester. Isa ako sa mga magtatake ng exam na iyon. Meron ba ditong magtatake katulad ko? Usap tayo dito.  Ito nga pala ang place and time ng examination ko: Ponciano Bernardo High School, 1 pm to 6 pm P. Salamat. Sa UP Manila ako nag-aaral ngayon. Saka 'wag mo kong po-in, baka magkasing-edad lang tayo. Hehehe. Mahirap talaga 'yung exam. Halo-halo, may subtest sa memory, sa abstract reasoning, reading comprehension, math tapos may hypothetical language. Madugo pero kaya mo 'yan. Dasal ka palagi. Saka kung nagprepare ka talaga para sa iba mo pang entrance exams, makakatulong 'yun. Huwag mo lang masyadong i-pressure ang sarili mo. Good luck!

Parang mas mahirap sa UPCAT. Pero di gaya ng UPCAT na right minus 1/4 wrong. Hehe. Hindi naman sobrang tinding pagrereview, ibalanse mo rin. Enjoy mo lang at think positive, hindi 'yung ikaw mismo ang nagdidiscourage sa sarili mo. Saka kung sa tingin mo sineryoso mo naman 'yung high school lessons mo, may laban ka na n'un kahit papaano. Sana nga ma-qualify ka. Malaking tulong 'yun lalo na sa mga magulang mo. Basta 'pag na-qualify ka, malaki ring challenge lalo na kung mapupunta ka sa magagaling na colleges kasi may maintaining grade. Kayang-kaya mo 'yan. Ano ba mga courses na inapply-an mo saka anong schools?

Mas mahirap sa UPCAT? Naku. Mabuti nalang hindi right minus wrong. Hehehe. UP at UST lang ang naapplyan ko with Accountancy as my first choice and Psychology as my second. Hindi na kaya ng mga magulang ko ang tuition fee sa Ateneo at La Salle eh. Balak kong magtry sa PUP dahil mura raw ang tuition fee doon pero hindi pa ako nakakapagpasa ng application form. Nga pala, anong course mo dyan sa UP Manila?

Parang lang naman. UP at UST lang din kinuhanan ko ng exams. Maganda 'yung courses na inapply-an mo. Dentistry course ko. Hehe.

May tanong ako, meron bang imememorize na formulas sa Math? Kung meron, anu-ano yun? Sa November 15 na kasi ako mag-eexam. Afternoon session ako.

just wanna try here baka dito ko swertehin. 1st year BSIT student me in Pamantasan ng Cabuyao. Working student noong una pero nagkaproblema ako sa work. Hindi ako pinayagan ng sr.supervisor ko na laging night shift ang pasok. Dati kasi sa supervisor lang ako nagpapaalam na retain ako lagi sa night shift kasi may pasok ako sa school pag-umaga. Pero ng malaman nga ng sr.supervisor namin pinapili niya ako. Its either I'll go with the regular routine of the company which is monthly shifting or I will leave the company and concentrate on my studies. Since mas gusto ko ang mag-aral kaya nagresign ako. At ngayon ito hikahos kasi walang nagpapaaral sakin. Hindi kaya ng mother ko kasi ala naman siya work. Hindi rin naman ako matulungan ng mga kaptid ko kasi wala rin sila work. Ang medyo mahaba ang kwento ko peo ito lang gusto ko itanong.... may alam ba kayong scholarship? wala kasi akong mahanap. 1st sem grades ko. MATH 1 2.25 (for verification) ENG 0 1.50 FIL 1 1.50 ETHICS 1.75 PE 1.50 CS101 1.50 CS102A 1.75 Nagahahanap po ako ng scholarship/sponsorship that will shoulder tuition fees with monthly allowance. Mura lang po tuition ko sa PNC less than 6k lng per sem at ang allowance 2k/month pwede na. Kung may alm po kau jan patulong naman po. Email nyo nlng po ako…..
