"Your best friend is your worst enemy".. This sort of wisdom almost always automatically gets approval from most people. Well, it might be true, that your best friend, to whom you share even your most intimate and most kept secrets, would be your worst enemy come the time that you call it quits.. It's a fact that what your best friend knows about you can be used against you, just like you can use against them the things that they have shared with you..


BUT...


It's my nature to disincline from looking at things so simply.. That's why my friends had told me that I always think ahead to the point that I sound like a paranoid bitch.. Well, I cannot blame them.. But for me, this "your best friend is your worst enemy" is not just about who knows more about who.. I mean, it can't mean anything as shallow as that..


SO..


In every fight, in every battle, you win by inflicting damage to your opponent.. Thus, the notion that since your best friend knows a lot about you, you are in the disadvantage point, but don't forget that you know some things about them, too.. So how could they be your worst enemy if you're equipped with equally dangerous "knowledge about them".. So it's a stupid notion, actually, if you rationalize more about it..



"YOUR BEST FRIEND IS YOUR WORST ENEMY" means that you can't really hurt someone whom you had actually been best friends with.. You had cared so much for them so how could you have the guts to ever hurt them, let alone use against them the things that they found joy in sharing with you in the first place? How could you hurt someone with whom you spent so much time? There is no way, really! You can't fight your best friend because you know you can't intentionally hurt them, thus, making them your worst enemy..



BEST FRIENDS-- how could one ever think of hurting them?
