Ik Kil is a well known cenote located at Yucatán, Mexico. A cenote is a deep natural pit, or sinkhole resulting from the collapse of limestone bedrock that exposes groundwater underneath.

The water level is 82 feet below the surface with an opening to the sky. There is a grand stone stairway leading down to the crystal clear water. Lush vegetation drapes the sides of Ik Kil and waterfalls gently cascade down the rocky slope creating a soothing and peaceful background sound at the pool.

Ik Kil is a perfectly round, well-type cenote with a diameter of 66 yards (60m) and a depth of 132 feet (40m).

It is open to the public for swimming and is often included in bus tours. The cenote is part of a larger complex of a restaurant, store, changing rooms, and cottages for rent. There is also a Mayan ruin on the site.
