Some notes:

Chat isn’t currently available/visible when you’re in the forums but is available in other tcaf pages, like the homepage, Chochalan, etc.

If you enabled “TAGO MODE” in your profile privacy settings — <em>tristancafe.com/members/yourusername/settings/privacy</em> — then the chatbox will be initially turned off. You have to click the red chat icon on the bottom-right side of the page to enable chat.

If “TAGO MODE” isn’t enabled, then your your username is automatically included in the chatbox list whenever you’re browsing tcaf (assuming you’re logged-in of course.)

Guest chatters are currently allowed, meaning those who aren’t registered/logged-in but are browsing the site nonetheless. They’re allowed up to 10 messages, after which they have to log-in to continue chatting. Kung maraming may ayaw ng guest chatters, comment lang kayo dito. I can see how they might potentially cause some problems.

There was a system glitch wherein the forum accounts of recently registered/activated members weren’t correspondingly activated. (Churi!)

This has now been fixed and ALL members can now submit posts and comments here in the forums

Presenting… the new “reaction faces / meme faces” smileys in tristancafe forums!

(Thanks to IFUGAO for the suggestion.)

Check out the forum section to use these new meme gifs. We’ll be adding some of the other requested smileys real soon.

Also, taking into consideration the voiced concerns of some tcaf-ers, the previously-announced animated gifs smileys are on-hold for now, until we can make the file sizes really really small.

One more thing, naayos na namin yung “subscribe to email notifications” feature ng forums, if you want to receive an email whenever someone comments on your own forum post.
